People buy solutions because they fix problems, or save them money. Solutions come in many shapes and sizes and their success usually depends on the ability to execute. That often means, differing components that come to together and bring out additional strengths, the product being greater than the sum.
Recently, we saw an example of this. SEPATON announced a new channel partnership with HDS; this is an exciting step for them and we are delighted to have Sepaton in the HDS True North Channel Program.
They will be reselling the AMS 2100 as an integral part of their VTL solution. This solution; only available from SEPATON and their Channel Partners, recognises the strengths of the AMS – performance, reliability and scalability – in the demanding world of back up to disk. HDS are not a reseller of SEPATON products.
The Hitachi AMS 2000 family continues to be one of the fastest growing modular storage solutions in the world, and this partnership will ensure this continues.
