I’d like to urge community that reads and is interested in HDS bloggers to sign up and vote for top blogging honors.  Personally I’d like there to be a diverse set of blogs representing Hitachi, EMC, NetApp, HP, etc. all in the top 10.  However as of now this looks as if it is an all EMC play.  So get out and vote to make a change.

The mix of the top 10 blogs has gotten better, but still 40% of the top 10 are EMC blogs.  Again I’ll restate my point about wanting to see diversity.  I’m not interested in my blog being at the top per se, although it would surely be nice, what I am interested in is the ability to get multiple opinions on various aspects of the storage ecosystem.  Since we are all vendors I would like to see a mix of vendors and not a monoculture.  So please get out and vote.

Here is a screenshot of the updated poll.  EMC still holds a majority of slots or 3 out of the top 10, which is fine if that’s what happens.  However, I personally would like to see more diversity in the mix.  I believe that voting closes on the 21st, so please sign up and vote to get more diversity in the top 10.
