Re-imagining Fridays

by Pete Gerr on January 8, 2010

This week’s installment of my favorite infographic series finds much of the nation locked in a cold snap with many of us still digging out of the holiday’s mental cobwebs. So, what’s good on a cold Friday afternoon?
I like coffee, but for the life of me, can’t recall the difference between a cappuccino, cafe latte, or cafe mocha. I feel like a fool every time I step up to a Starbucks in California and end up offering a “venti coffee of the day with room“, even though I wanted something fancier. Thanks to nice infographic from Lokesh Dhakar which I’ve printed out and will keep in my wallet for quick reference, maybe I’ll get what I want next time.

Now, if you’re more of a Friday-afternoon beer connoisseur, the guys at 600 Series Design and an illustrator named Dan Zettwoch have produced a very impressive “History of Beer” poster-size infographic.

Either way, seems like a win-win and some good reading to boot.

Enjoy!

Hi Susan,
thanks for your comment, and I’m the same - a picture really does say 1,000 words, or more.
