As part of my job, I try to find ways to communicate the benefits and challenges of technology and business models, so I am always on the lookout for more effective ways to do this.

In times of economic down turns, many companies are cutting discretionary spending such as travel to events like Storage Networking World. If you are an IT person considering an acquisition of storage networking systems, you might want to consider the value that can come out of attending an event like SNW.

I came across a post on the RupturedMonkey blog, which is documenting a customer’s experience in installing our USP with virtualization and migration of a CX600 to an AMS200, using Tiered Storage Manager. He has also employed Logical Partitioning for mainframe and open systems use.
