RenewData Sold on Hitachi Synergy

Back in December, I wrote about how Hitachi Data Systems uniquely provides a “synergy” of file and content technologies to customers which help them achieve tremendous storage cost and backup savings. I’m happy to share how one of our many customers has bought into this architecture and deployed our integrated portfolio to solve their problems.
As you may recall, synergy is “the interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects.” 1+1=3. In this case, it’s actually 1+1+1=4; as the products used are Hitachi NAS plus Hitachi Content Platform plus Hitachi Data Discovery Suite. Hitachi NAS is our enterprise NAS platform, HCP provides active archiving with dedupe, and HDDS provides federated search across the storage enterprise.
As an e-discovery archiving and review solution provider to corporations and law firms involved with litigation, RenewData helps to ensure that every record associated with a particular case is securely housed accurately, filtered and expediently retrievable to provide a forensically sound chain of custody.
