Not Santa but the customers would be happy if you made RAID manager CCI a better CLI tool. It would be good if we eliminated the need for HORCM files and instead had the device numbers listed directly in the commands.

Believe me no customer likes HORCM files which are prone to errors etc. A small space and you get a cryptic error which makes one go crazy.

And since the customer has already paid for a shadow image or true copy license it makes him eligible to get a better CLI tool free.

Meanwhile storage navigator is a very good GUI and yes for those who can afford Tiered Storage Manager, they need not look beyond.

Barry,

I have to reveal a secret…Santa told me he’s been using HDS tiered storage automation for years just like many of our customers.

Seriously though, Happy Holidays!

One has to wonder - how would Santa feel upon learning that he had to outsource part of the tiering process to HDS Professional Services?

I'll bet he would prefer to save all that OpEx and have the storage array Fully Automate the Storage Tiering process for him? It's so easy, even a junior elf can do it!
